Time feels like it’s flying and my emotions are all over the place.  On the one hand, I feel calm about meeting Bean and embarking on the journey of parenthood.  On the other hand, I’m realizing this may be the busiest year in my adult life (thus far).

Not only am I preparing to being a first-time mom, but I’m also planning to be a first-time home buyer (both before July!) These are two pretty big deals for me because they both require a lot of planning and discipline.  I’ve never really thought of discipline or planning as one of my strengths.  It’s like…Adulting 2.0

I’m excited to be stretched (literally and figuratively) in new ways, but I can’t help but be a little stressed about all the newness.  It’s not a bad stress…in fact, it’s almost a productive stress that keeps me motivated without becoming undone and completely useless.
